Funding

Sunnybrook has received at least $10,000,000.00 in funding from City of Toronto Mayor John Tory; at least $2,500,000.00 from Amgen and Roche; at least $1,000,000.00 from Abbott, Novartis and Eli Lilly; at least $500,000.00 from AstraZeneca, Covidien, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck and Pfizer; at least $250,000.00 from Allergan, Bayer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Canadian National Railway (whose primary stakeholders are Bill and Melinda Gates)1) 2) 3) Janssen (a Johnson & Johnson company), Medivolve, Monsanto, Synthes (a Johnson & Johnson company) and the University of Toronto Department of Medicine; at least $100,000.00 from AbbVie, Apotex, Astellas, Biogen, Johnson & Johnson and Novopharm; at least $50,000.00 from Alexion Pharma, Biomet, and Pharmacia; and many other donors of interest.
