Shankara Chetty
Dr. Shankara Chetty is a Natural Science Biologist and Family General Medical Practitioner in South Africa.
History
COVID-19
As of December 21, 2021, Dr. Chetty has treated nearly 8,000 COVID-19 patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing effective early outpatient treatment. His protocols have included hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, vitamins, and other drugs and neutraceuticals, and have reportedly resulted in avoiding supplemental oxygen, hospitalization and death for all of his patients.
Dr. Chetty was charged by the Health Professional Council of South Africa for “unprofessional conduct”, allegedly in response to his comments critical of COVID-19 vaccines and medical censorship.1) He appeared in front of the HPCSA board on May 17, 2023.2)
An open letter was authored by Dr. Eleftherios Gkioulekas calling for the charges against Dr. Chetty to be dropped, dated April 27, 2023.3) Signatories to the letter as of May 17, 2023 included Peter McCullough, Steven Pelech, David Ross, Liam Sturgess, Claudia Chaufin, Stephanie Seneff, Philip McDunnough, Mary Sharpe, Kanji Nakatsu, Patrick Provost, Ondrej Halgas, Philip Oldfield, Richard Urso, Ira Bernstein, Simone Gold, Peter Breggin, Charles Kovess, Susan Natsheh, and Charles Hoffe, among dozens of others.4)
