Canadian Muslim COVID-19 Task Force
The group promotes COVID-19 vaccine products for children in partnership with:
- Children’s COVID-19 Vaccine Table. The Table is co-chaired by Dr. Vinita Dubey (employed by Toronto Public Health as Associate Medical Officer of Health; employed as Adjunct Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto specializing in increasing uptake of vaccines and combating vaccine hesitancy;1) sits on the Behavioural Science Working Group of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table;2) sits on the Ontario Immunization Advisory Committee (OIAC);3) member of the National Advisory Committee on Immunizations (NACI), the group that approved the Pfizer-BioNTech shot for kids 5-11)4) and Kimberly Moran (CEO of the Ontario College of Family Physicians;5) former CEO of Children's Mental Health Ontario; former Special Advisor to the Dean, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto; former CEO of UNICEF Canada).
- SickKids, who received $99,680.00 CAD from a grant program called “Encouraging vaccine confidence in Canada” jointly administered through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).6) 7) 8) The hospital used the money to produce coercive video materials that were distributed by the Ontario Ministry of Education to “school boards, private schools and child care centres to use in COVID-19 vaccination education programs.”9) 10)
- Immunize Canada, which is sponsored by Pfizer, Moderna, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi and Seqirus, and partnered withCollege of Family Physicians of Canada, Public Health Ontario, the Public Health Agency of Canada and many others.11)
