People's Convoy
The People's Convoy was an American protest event that took place in the spring of 2022. It was one of several convoy movements formed after the Freedom Convoy 2022 protest in Canada.
History
The convoy departed from California on February 23, 2022 and arrived in Maryland on March 4, 2022.1)
Chaos
On March 2, 2022, Freedom Fighter Nation founder Leigh Dundas authored a statement explaining the organization's departure from the People's Convoy, citing comments made by Bob Bolus about planning to enter Washington, D.C.2)
In a January 2023 interview with Kristin Elizabeth, organizer Brian Brase recounted multiple and frequent attempts to hijack and/or create chaos throughout the planning and execution of the convoy. He specifically names James Heckman, Leigh Dundas and Carolina Bonita and describes their various alarming activities.3)
