Effective Altruism

Effective altruism is a philanthrocapitalistic ideology described as “a rigorously unsentimental approach to charitable giving.”¹⁾

Following the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX and its affiliated philanthropic ventures, effective altruism as a whole was thrown into the spotlight under intense scrutiny.²⁾

While not necessarily a formal alliance, there exists a sprawling network of organizations and ventures working in the space of effective altruism.
