Institute for Advanced Study

The Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) is an American academic think tank based in Princeton, New Jersey. It is associated with, but independent from, Princeton University, and is affiliated with Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey, and other nearby institutions.¹⁾

IAS was founded in 1930 by Abraham Flexner, together with Louis Bamberger and Caroline Bamberger Fuld.
