Global Challenges Foundation
The Global Challenges Foundation is a Swedish philanthropic organization based in Stockholm, Sweden.
History
The Global Challenges Foundation was founded in 2012 by Swedish financial analyst and author Laszlo Szombatfalvy, who donated SEK 500 million.1)
In 2017, the foundation provided a two-year grant to fund the Overpopulation Project.2)
The foundation has also provided funding to the Council on Strategic Risks,3) and is partnered with the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk.4)
