History

COVID-19

CORE Group's Executive Director Lisa Hilmi attended the Gavi COVAX AMC 2021 Investment Opportunity Launch Event, otherwise named One World Protected, on April 15, 2021.1)

In the second quarter of 2021, CORE Group received a $99,987 grant from Pfizer for a project titled “Digital Solutions to COVID-19 Vaccine Patient Education: Addressing Vaccine Hesitancy.”2) CORE's profile on GuideStar expands on this “COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Program,” intended to “advance an evidence-based knowledge base of the safety and efficacy of current COVID-19 vaccines” which called for “a deep understanding of the current and evolving needs for vaccine education, social and behavior change, and equitable access to vaccines.”3)

Organization

CORE Group is a member of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH),4) the Global Health Council5) and the Pandemic Action Network,6) and partner of Global Washington,7) the Sabin Vaccine Institute8) and UHC2030.9)

CORE Group is a signatory to the Immunization Agenda 2030 pledge.10)
