WHO Foundation

The WHO Foundation is a global non-governmental organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. It is affiliated with, but legally independent from, the World Health Organization, for whom it raises funds.

The Swiss Supervisory Authority of Foundation in Bern, Switzerland, is the supervisory authority of the WHO Foundation. PricewaterhouseCoopers was the foundation's statutory auditor for its first fiscal year.

Initiatives

Go Give One

Go Give One is described as a COVID-19 initiative created by the WHO Foundation. The initiative accepts donations for an international financing mechanism called Gavi COVAX Advanced Market Commitment (AMC), purchasing COVID-19 vaccines for countries around the world.2)
