Tingting Zhao

Tingting Zhao is a Junior Policy Analyst at the C.D. Howe Institute, based in Toronto, Ontario. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Education

Zhang graduated from the University of Western Ontario and studied economics at McGill University.1)

Career

Zhang worked as an instructor and rersearch assistant at King's University College from 2014-2016, moving to McGill University from March-August 2017, then back to King's from September 2018 to April 2022. From October 2019 to June 2022, Zhang worked as a Labour Market Analyst at the Four County Labour Market Planning Board.

Zhang began working at the C.D. Howe Institute in June 2022.2)

In December 2022, the institute published a report co-authored by Zhang and Rosalie Wyonch titled Damage Averted: Estimating the Effects of COVID-19 vaccines on Hospitalizations, Mortality and Costs in Canada.3)

Volunteering

Zhang has volunteered for the Ark Aid Street Mission and ReForest London.
