History
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation purchased an initial stake of more than 600,000 Serco shares in 2014.1) In May 2019 - mere months before the COVID-19 pandemic was declared - the foundation's trust added an additional 200,000 shares to its portfolio.2)
COVID-19
Serco was contracted by the Government of Western Australia to operate the Centre for National Resilience Perth, a mandatory COVID-19 quarantine camp in the Bullsbrook suburb of Perth, Australia.3)
