Scott Klarenbach
Dr. Scott Klarenbach, MD, MSc, FRCPC is a Canadian nephrologist. He is co-chair of the AHS COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Group under Alberta Health Services.

Real-World Evidence Consortium
Klarenbach is Director of the Alberta Real-World Evidence Consortium at the University of Calgary, which conducts pharmacoepidemiologic and pharmacoeconomic research.4) In his declaration of interest from June 2022, Klarenbach noted that the success of RWEC “is contingent on industry funding”, though he doesn't receive any honoraria himself.
