COVID-19

A Kelowna, British Columbia family received a letter on January 11th, 2022 informing them of a forthcoming mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy that would result in their eviction from the Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver where their four year old son was receiving treatment for leukemia.1) As a result of major public backlash, including a grassroots “call-to-action” campaign initiated by Action4Canada, the Ronald McDonald House relocated the family to the Easter Seals House in Vancouver.2)
