Robert Fowler

Robert Fowler is a Canadian clinician based in Toronto, Ontario. He is a senior scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute, a physician at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and a consultant in the World Health Organization's Department of Pandemic and Epidemic Diseases.1)

He is also Associate Director of Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation within the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto.

History

COVID-19

On February 11-12, 2020, Fowler participated in an event called “2019 novel Coronavirus Global research and innovation forum: towards a research roadmap”, hosted by the World Health Organization's R&D Blueprint and Global Research Collaboration for Infectious Disease Preparedness (GLOPID-R). He delivered a brief presentation on the topic of “clinical characterization and management” of COVID-19 alongside Yae-Jean Kim.2)
