The Public Health Association of BC (PHABC) is a Canadian registered charity based in Victoria, British Columbia.

History

COVID-19

PHABC received two grants in July 2021 for a total of $100,000 CAD from the Government of Canada to fund Kids Boost Immunity and the COVID-19 South Asian Vaccine Confidence Initiative.1) The funding was awarded through a grant program called “Encouraging Vaccine Confidence in Canada” jointly administered by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).2)
