OsteopathyBC, previously called the Society for the Promotion of Manual Practice Osteopathy, is a Canadian membership association based Vancouver, British Columbia.
History
The Society was formed by Howard Dieno and others in 2005.1)
On May 14, 2014, SPMPO President Gail Abernethy sent a letter to Director of Professional Health Regulation Darryl Beckett sharing a report prepared by the Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) on the contributions of the osteopathic profession.2)
Organization
OsteopathyBC is a member of the Canadian Federation of Osteopaths and the Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA).
