Naguib Kheraj

Kheraj is a Muslim and a member of the Ismaili community. He was born in London, but grew up in east Africa, Switzerland, Pakistan and the Middle East.¹⁾

Kheraj began his career at Salomon Brothers in 1986 and went on to hold a number of senior positions at leading international financial institutions.²⁾

Kheraj joined Barclays in 1998, where he served as Group Finance Director and Vice-Chairman and in various business leadership positions over the course of the following 12 years.³⁾

He was Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Cazenove, a London-based investment banking business.⁴⁾

Kheraj worked at Standard Chartered as Deputy Chairman and Chair of the Risk and Audit Committees.⁵⁾

Kheraj is a member of the board of directors for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.⁶⁾
