COVID-19
MTRX published a whitepaper in November 2020 outlining its three “solutions” to the COVID-19 pandemic: the MTRX K1, MTRX L1, and MTRX KLD. The K1 “has the ability to link to identity in various ways,” including using “facial recognition technology to link health evaluation data to a person's identity.” This includes integration with “employee ID badges, tickets to events” and functions of the L1 (“Bluetooth, RFID, QR codes, NFC, barcodes”).3)
Huff demonstrated the company's “MTRX K1 Safe Reentry” kiosk during the Extreme Connect Virtual conference on September 16-17, 2020.4)
The company created its YouTube channel on January 13, 2021.5) Its first video was published on January 22, 2021, which featured a whiteboard animation pitching its kiosk.6)
