Mireille Lacroix

Mireille Lacroix is a Canadian public health official based in Ottawa, Ontario.

From February 2004 to April 2006, Lacroix was employed at the University of Montreal in human rights research.

Lacroix works as a manager for the Public Health Agency of Canada.¹⁾ She also acts as an ex-officio representative for the Public Health Ethics Consultative Group (PHECG) on the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI), responsible for approving COVID-19 vaccines in Canada.²⁾

She is also a Senior Policy Analyst with PHAC, a role she's occupied since April 2006.³⁾

At the outset of the creation of the PHAC, Lacroix authored a paper suggesting the agency should be modelled after the Quebec Public Health Ethics Committee.⁴⁾

Lacroix has contributed to publications on genetic testing.^{5) 6) 7) 8)}

She is listed by the National Collaborating Centre for Public Health Policy (NCCPHP) as an expert in “Public health law and ethics; Ethics and infectious disease law; pandemic planning.”⁹⁾
