Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is an American media magnate, internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is widely credited for creating Facebook, and overseeing its rebranding to Meta. He is an agenda contributor for the World Economic Forum, which also recruited him to its Forum of Young Global Leaders program class of 2009.1)

Background

Zuckerberg was born May 14, 1984 in White Plains, New York.2) In 2012, he married his former Harvard classmate Priscilla Chan, a former teacher and paediatrician.3)

Education

After attending Phillips Exeter Academy, Zuckerberg enrolled at Harvard University in 2002.4) 5)

Career

In 2009, Zuckerberg participated in the World Economic Forum's Forum of Young Global Leaders program.6)
