Meta Platforms Inc. is an American multinational technology conglomerate. It is the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Oculus and others.

Prior to its acquisition by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Meta LLC was “an artificial intelligence company focused on accelerating science.”¹⁾
