Julie Powell
Julie Powell was an American writer who became famous for spending a year cooking every recipe in Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking“. She died on October 26, 2022 of a cardiac arrest at the age of 49.

COVID-19
On October 1, 2021, Powell tweeted, “I would argue that COVID does kill some of the right people. The anti-vaxxers/maskers are dying in legions.”
As of June 2022, Powell had received three doses of COVID-19 vaccines.1)
During September 2022, Powell's husband reported coming down with COVID-19 twice, with Powell falling ill at least once.2) 3) 4)
On October 25, 2022, she tweeted, “So I woke up with something that's literally Black Hairy Tongue. People, including my doctor, seem to think it's no big deal, and will go away soon, but it certainly is gross.”5) She died of cardiac arrest the following day, with some speculating she died as a result of either COVID-19 or her multiple doses of COVID-19 vaccines.6)
