Global Polio Eradication Initiative

The Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) is an international public-private partnership based at the headquarters of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The GPEI is led by national governments alongside six partners: Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Rotary International, United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization.1)
