HOPE Worldwide is partnered with and/or funded by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Americares, Blessings International, Direct Relief International, Eli Lilly, the European Union, Feed the Children, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis & Malaria, Habitat for Humanity, Heart to Heart International, Hong Kong Housing Authority, Jhpiego, International Diabetes Federation, Salvation Army, SAP, United Nations, United Way, USAID, Walmart, Wine to Water and the World Health Organization (WHO).1) The organization is also part of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD).
United Church of Canada
James' career across multiple church congregations have been under the purview of the United Church of Canada.2)
He worked at Bracebridge United Church, where he “engaged in immersion and leadership tasked as assigned by the United Church of Canada.” He returned to Jamaica in 2016, and then moved to the Okanagan area of BC in 2017. He then worked a combined four years as the Minister at St. Andrew’s United Church, Enderby and Zion United Church, Armstrong, BC.
James began working as Coordinating Minister at Lynn Valley United Church in North Vancouver, BC in July 2021.3)
