In an article dated May/June 2014, the Canadian Pharmacists Association spotlighted a number of their sponsors.1) Aptly titled Meet Our Sponsors, the piece lists Pfizer Canada Inc. as a Titanium Sponsor.
Two subsidiaries are also described:
- Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, “one of Canada’s premier companies in the field of self-medication health care products. It markets many of the strongest brands in the Canadian health care market, including Advil, Caltrate, Centrum, Dimetapp, Emergen-C, Robax Platinum and Robitussin.”
- GenMed, a “Canadian-based supplier of quality generic medicines within one of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies.”
The other featured sponsors are Johnson & Johnson and their LifeScan and McNeil Consumer Products subsidiaries, as well as Teva Pharmaceuticals.
