In May 2021, Pallister was asked a question about ivermectin for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. Instead of addressing the question, he responded by claiming the pharmaceutical industry is one of the largest industries in Manitoba. He then moved to the topic of fires, and thanked “those responsible” for making it rain.1)
