Barbara Fried

Barbara Fried is an American law professor based in Stanford, California. She is the mother of Sam Bankman-Fried and Gabe Bankman-Fried, and wife of Joseph Bankman.

She is on faculty at the Stanford Law School.1)

History

Education

Fried received numerous degrees from Harvard University between 1977 and 1983.

Career

Fried started her career as a clerk to Judge J. Edward Lumbard of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She then worked for the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York City from 1984-1987.2)
