Cicero is a graduate of the Yale Law School and Oberlin College.
Career
Cicero began her career as a trial attorney in the Honors Program at the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Environmental Enforcement Section.
Cicero is Deputy Director at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and a Senior Scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.1) She is also an Associate Editor of the journal Health Security.
Pandemic preparedness
Cicero has participated in several pandemic war games, including Clade X and Event 201.
