DOJ Investigation
In December 2020, U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr stated that there was “no evidence” of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. However, FOIA requests by the Center for Renewing America to 12 U.S. Attorney districts from battleground states returned no documents about any investigation into the matter.2)
Post-election
In October 2021, political organization Occupy Democrats claimed in a tweet that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “warns Americans that we are in the middle of a 'full constitutional crisis;” and “under a ‘dangerous, high level attack’ on our elections & democracy that is led by Trump, funded by billionaires, & fueled by Facebook.”3)
