Paul Alexander
Dr. Paul Elias Alexander, PhD is a Canadian health researcher and epidemiologist. He is a Senior Advisor to The Wellness Company (TWC).1)
History
Education
Alexander received his bachelor’s degree in epidemiology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, a master’s degree from the University of Oxford, and a PhD from McMaster University’s Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact.2)
COVID-19
On March 15, 2023, Alexander appeared as a guest on a Gigaohm Biological livestream with Jonathan Couey.3) The discussion centred around Couey's hypothesis that SARS-CoV-2 was intentionally released at sites around the world to seed a genetic signature into the population, with the pair working in real time to reconcile their two understandings of the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants in a Clubhouse discussion following the livestream expressed interest and curiosity in the nuances of Couey's more novel perspective.4)
The pair returned for a follow-up discussion the following day.5)
