Patrick Feng

Patrick Feng, PhD is a Canadian researcher and health policy specialist based in Toronto, Ontario.

Education

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Feng holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. (Science and Technology Studies) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His dissertation, entitled Designing a 'Global' Privacy Standard: Politics and Expertise in Technical Standards-Setting, investigated how the work of international standards organizations shapes both technology development and policy-making.

Simon Fraser University

Feng was a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow in the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University (SFU). During his fellowship, he was part of a team that researched the implementation of health information technologies across Canada. He also taught courses on new media and society.1)
