Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table

Armstrong sits on the Congregate Care Setting Working Group of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table.3)

Royal Society of Canada

In 2011, Armstrong was elected as a Fellow to the Royal Society of Canada.4)

Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council

Armstrong received a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) to study families and COVID-19 in long-term care.5)

York University

Armstrong is Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of the Sociology at York University.6) She is the principal investigator for the school’s Re-imagining Long-Term Care project.7)

Books

Armstrong is the author, co-author, or editor of over 25 books.8) While she does retain some royalties from her books, most of the money goes to charities.9) 10)
