Nili Kaplan-Myrth

Dr. Nili Kaplan-Myrth is a Canadian family physician based in Ottawa, Ontario.

Kaplan-Myrth completed medical school at the University of Ottawa. She won a Commonwealth scholarship to University College London, and a Fulbright for her PhD at Yale University where she wrote her thesis on Indigenous self-determination and health.

In August 2022, Kaplan-Myrth announced she was running to be a trustee for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, stating “we need to ensure there are voices that don’t debate the validity of science.”¹⁾
