Martin Lavoie

Dr. Martin Lavoie is a Canadian public health official based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Career and Affiliations

Public Health Agency of Canada

Lavoie is a liaison representative for the Council of Chief Medical Officers of Health on the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI), the body responsible for recommending the approval of COVID-19 vaccines in Canada.1)

Government of British Columbia

Lavoie is a Deputy Provincial Health Officer for the Government of British Columbia, serving under Dr. Bonnie Henry at the BC Ministry of Health.2) He began in this position in July 2020.3)
