History
Jane Street was founded in August 1999 by Tim Reynolds, Rob Granieri, Marc Gerstein, and Michael Jenkins - all former employees of Susquehanna International Group (SIG), minus Gerstein, who worked at IBM.1) 2)

Jane Street earned over $6 billion in profit during the first half of 2020 alone.3)
