I Boost Immunity

I Boost Immunity (IBI) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) created by the Public Health Agency of Canada, the BC Ministry of Health, the Public Health Association of British Columbia, and the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC). Their “goal is to counter misinformation and antiscientific myths about immunization, communicable diseases, and other related issues.”1)

It provides “Booster quizzes” on immunization and communicable diseases, where website visitors can “beat the average score to earn a vaccine”.2)

Funding and Partnerships

In addition to its founding organizations, IBI is partnered with and/or funded by several public health organizations and pharmaceutical companies.3)

I Boost Immunity is also a member of the Vaccine Safety Net, a network of websites that provides vaccine information that is deemed “reliable” by the World Health Organization (WHO).
