Community Change

Community Change, formerly the Center for Community Change, is an American non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. It is closely associated with a sister advocacy organization called Community Change Action.

Initiatives

Black Freedom Collective (BFC)

Community Change Action is the originator of the Black Freedom Collective (BFC), a coalition of Black-led community organizing groups from across the nation that are committed to investing in sustainable economic, social, and cultural infrastructure of Black communities.1)

Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM)

The Center for Community Change launched the Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM), an immigration reform movement working for comprehensive immigration reform. FIRM received funding from the Open Society Foundations and the Ford Foundation.2) 3)
