Centre for National Resilience Melbourne
The Centre for National Resilience - Melbourne is an Australian quarantine facility in the Mickleham suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. It was created as a mandatory quarantine camp for travellers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
History
Multinational construction company Multiplex was contracted in 2021 by the Australian Government Department of Finance to build the Centre for National Resilience Melbourne.1) Construction began in August 2021.2)
Due to lack of demand, the camp's operating capacity was reduced to 25% in July 2022.3)
