Blake Rasmussen

Blake Rasmussen is an American writer and public relations specialist based in Redmond, Washington.

Rasmussen attended Cornell College from 2001-2005 for a joint Bachelor of Arts in politics and philosophy, where he was associated with Phi Beta Kappa.¹⁾ He then went to the University of Iowa for a two-year Masters program in journalism and mass communications, completing in 2007.

From June-September 2007, Rasmussen worked as a communications assistant for the World Security Institute. He returned to Cornell College to work as Communications Director from December 2007-December 2009. In June 2010, he started working as Editor at the Community Impact Newspaper, while acting as a mentor at the Austin Independent School District.

He worked in marketing for Emerson Process Management from September 2012-April 2014, and then began working at Wizards of the Coast in May 2014. He worked his way up to his current position of Director of Communications.
