Anthony Mathews

Anthony (Tony) Mathews, DO is a British osteopath.

History

Mathews hired a lobbyist named Michael Geoghegan to assist him in convincing the British Columbia Ministry of Health to make changes to how osteopathic practitioners are regulated in British Columbia. Geoghegan formally registered his intended lobbying activity with the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists for British Columbia on August 8, 2012, active until May 1, 2013.1)

The pair scheduled a meeting with Mark MacKinnon and Laurianne Jodouin for October 15, 2014. According to minutes from the meeting, Mathews did not disclose in advance the purpose of the meeting or the fact that he was bringing guests, which included Geoghegan, an unnamed notetaker, and another osteopathic practitioner named Howard Dieno.2)
