Jonathan Couey

Jonathan Couey, PhD is a research biologist and educator.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Couey participated with a group known as DRASTIC that researched the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, disputing the zoonosis origins story.

Couey participated in the public comment period during the June 23, 2022 meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), in which he criticized the regulatory decision making of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Center for Disease Control and Prevention in regards to COVID-19 vaccines.^{1) 2)}
