Brandie Walker

Walker is the respiratory representative on the AHS COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Group under Alberta Health Services.¹⁾

Walker is a researcher for the Canadian Lung Association. She received the Clinician-Scientist Asthma Award, which provided her with $115,000.00 in funding from AllerGen, the Canadian Lung Association and the Canadian Thoracic Society.²⁾

Walker is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Calgary's Snyder Institute for Chronic Diseases (in partnership with Alberta Health Services).⁹⁾

Her research focus is in the field of airways diseases with a focus on COPD and asthma.

Through her participation in the CanCOLD study, Walker has received funding from Almirall, AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, NeuMeDx, Novartis, Nycomed, Pfizer, Takeda, and Theratechnologies.¹⁰⁾
