COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Salvaterra acted as a representative for the Office of the Medical Officer of Health on the AHS COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Group under Alberta Health Services.
After retiring as Medical Officer of Health for Peterborough Public Health, Salvaterra was hired as Deputy CMOH at AHS in September 2021. She began the new position on October 4.3)
