Prime Trust
History
Prime Trust was founded in 2016.1)
In 2020, Prime Trust gave €40,930 to the Future of Life Institute.2)
2022 election
In February and March 2022, Prime Trust gave $14 million to Protect Our Future, a super political action committee that backed Democratic candidates during the 2022 primary season.3) 4) However, a spokesperson for Prime Trust clarified that the funds were actually donated on behalf of FTX executives Sam Bankman-Fried and Nishad Singh.5) $14 million of the funds were attributable to SBF, while $1 million was from Singh.
Similarly, Prime Trust donated $500,000 to the Oregon State Democratic Party which was subsequently revealed to have been on behalf of Singh.6)
