The Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB) is a Canadian federal quasi-judicial regulatory and reporting agency.
History
On May 2, 2023, former PMPRB member Matthew Herder testified to the Parliament of Canada that Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos had meddled in the agency's work by requesting “to suspend consultations on guidelines that would lower the price of pharmaceutical drugs.”1)
