Nigel Crawford
Prof. Nigel Crawford is an Australian paediatrician and vaccinologist based in Parkville, Victoria.
He is the Director of SAEFVIC (Surveillance of Adverse Events Following Vaccination In the Community) and the Melbourne Vaccine Education Centre (MVEC). He is also an Assistant Professor at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, is Head of Immunisation Services at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and Chair of Victorian Specialist Immunisation Services (VicSIS).1)

COVID-19
In 2021, A/Prof Crawford was appointed the Chair of the Australian Therapeutic Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI), Ex-officio Member of COVID-19 Vaccines and Treatments for Australia – Science and Industry Technical Advisory Group (SITAG), Member of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) COVID-19 vaccine Expert Advisory Group (EAG), Member of the Victorian Department of Health, COVID-19 vaccine Expert Advisory Group (EAG), member of Vaccination Special Interest Group (VACSIG)/ Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases (ASID), and the Victorian representative of TGA-JIC (Jurisdictional Immunisation Co-ordinators) vaccine safety meetings with Australian Government Department of Health.
