Collaboration

The NUS collaborates with academic institutions around the world including Harvard Medical School, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Peking University, University of Hong Kong, and Australian National University.1)

Additionally, the school signed a memorandum of agreement with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).

Funding

The NUS has received significant funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, including for vaccine development,2) mobile phone health applications,3) COVID-19 pandemic response,4) tuberculosis,5) water sanitation,6) 7) iris mapping for identification of individuals in healthcare settings,8) and synthetic nanoparticles to replace human antibodies.9)
