Neil, in collaboration with Professor Norman Fenton, Joel Smalley, and Clare Craig wrote up a statistical analysis (in preprint as of December 14, 2021) suggestive of systematic mis-categorization of vaccination status making COVID-19 vaccine efficacy appear better than reality in retrospective analyses.
