Karen Saperson

Dr. Karen Saperson is a University Academic Representative on the CPSO for McMaster University, where she is employed as a Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences.1) She is also Vice Chair of that department.2) She practices psychiatry through St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and has hospital privileges at McMaster Children’s Hospital, St. Peter’s Hospital (Hamilton Health Sciences), Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, and St. Joseph's Centre for Mountain Health Services.3)

Saperson was a recipient of the 2017 Royal College’s AMS/Donald R. Wilson Award from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. “Dr. Saperson is unquestionably a pioneer in the field of mentorship.”4)
