On October 16, 2022, the Guardian published an article written by Sample titled “Vaccines to treat cancer possible by 2030, say BioNTech founders”.1) The piece discussed BioNTech's plans to return its focus to developing mRNA-based cancer vaccines, basing itself on the supposed “success” of the COVID-19 vaccines rolled out rapidly in 2020 through 2022.
